Frédéric Nauczyciel images are nourished by American photography, dance, cinema and painting. The images constructed with his protagonists reach beyond identity alone to free up an intimate part of reality. His productions have been supported by, among others, the Centre Pompidou, Festival d’Avignon, Théâtre National de Chaillot, Institut Supérieur d’Art de Besançon and the Centre de Photographie de Lectoure. He has exhibited in France (Musée de la Chasse, Mac/Val, Rencontres d’Arles), Barcelona (Palau de la Virreina) and the United States (Washington, Baltimore and New York).
Frédéric Nauczyciel presented his work at the Rencontres d’Arles in 2013 with Stéphane Couturier: Festival d’Avignon at the Cloître Saint-Trophime.
