“I earned a bachelor’s degree in 2003 from the Department of Photography and New Media of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design (AFAD) in Bratislava, where my diploma project was titled Me and the Eiffel Tower. In 2005, after studying for two years in the Fine Arts Department of the Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst in Zürich, I received a piece of paper which said that I am a ‘Diplomierte Kunstlerin’ (meaning ‘a female artist with a diploma’). In 2007, I almost failed to get my master’s degree in the AFAD Photography Department. Currently, I am studying in the New Genres Department of the San Francisco Art Institute as a Fulbright grantee. I have taken part in exhibitions including Talent Latent in Tarragona (Spain), Jump into cold water in the Shedhalle Zürich (Switzerland), BOOM! in the Gallery Scala Mata in Venice (Italy), I have a dream … za plotom (‘beyond the fence’) in the American Embassy Art Space in Bratislava (Slovakia), W cieniu fotografii in Gallery ZPAF i S-ka in Cracow (Poland) and elsewhere. My videos and animations have been shown at various film festivals.”
