Olivier Culmann has been a photographer since 1992. He is a member of Tendance Floue, a photographer’s collective, since 1996. He Published in GEO, L’Express, Le Point, Times, Le Monde, Liberation…

Olivier Culmann wrote several books and won several Prices and grants (Prize Fujifilm Euro Press Photo in 2004, Prize Scam Roger Pic 2003…). In 2001 he co-directed a documentary film with Pascal Dupont, “Une histoire nécessaire” (A necessary story).

Olivier Culmann presented his work at the Rencontres d’Arles in 2006: TV viewers at the Atelier des Forges. He also took part in the following collective exhibitions, at the Rencontres d’Arles: Collectif Tendance Floue / Magazine Géo at the église de Barcarin (2004); France 14 at the abbaye de Montmajour (2010) and Tendance Floue /Getting down to it at the Magasin Electrique (2011).
