Born in New York City in 1968.
Lived in Argentina from 1970 until 2003. Currently based in San Francisco.
Her work has been exhibited extensively abroad, including a solo show at the Museum of Modern Art, Buenos Aires, and is part of several collections including the Museum of Modern Art, New York, and the Museum of Modern Art, Buenos Aires.
She has been awarded numerous grants and prizes, including a Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship in 2000 and a Hasselblad Foundation Grant in 2001. She is a member of the Magnum Photo agency.
